A Message from the Superintendent

On March 30th, the Governor announced the lifting of the statewide mask mandate requiring all Arkansans to wear masks while in public. This announcement does not change the guidance and recommendations given to schools by the Arkansas Department of Health and Department of Education.

Throughout this school year, Arkansas Lighthouse Academies has followed the safety requirements and guidelines regarding COVID-19 outlined in its 2020-2021 Ready for Learning Plan, passed by each of the boards. These procedures have allowed us to maintain a safe, and healthy environment for our students and staff. On March 30th and 31st during the monthly school board meetings, it was determined by the boards that Jacksonville Lighthouse Charter Schools, Pine Bluff Lighthouse Charter Schools, and Capital City Lighthouse Charter School would continue to abide by the COVID-19 protocols included in the Ready for Learning Plan, including wearing masks, until the end of this school year.

Specific updates to the plan regarding COVID-19 procedures, requirements, and/or guidelines, will be outlined on each of the district's websites.

We appreciate your support and cooperation in this matter.

Executive Director/Superintendent
